Not really - a Honda Civic commercial doesn't go after "rich people" - wrong demographic. They cover that territory with their Acura line. Besides, it's actually cheaper to rice out a car like a lot of the ones in the commercial than it is to build it right. The neon-loving, dub sporting civic driver they're after is more likely to pay $450 for a knockoff kit on eBay than order the real Buddy Club stuff for $2500 or grab a set of cheap chrome/polished 19" wheels for less money than a good set of Volks.
