Hardcore's always a camp fest everytime I try it. And with no kill cams campers can dominate. Don't like it...

thats why i only play objective based games on HC.

so what does everybody use for a gun?

i've been playing a lot of capture the flag lately to get my marathon perk. but i have been torn between guns and sights. also trying to get sleight of hand pro.

i have been using the galil, but i don't like that it is 3 round burst.

Yea in HC you have to get used to it and learn how to set up a good hc class for yourself.. you also do have to camp your ass off or be sneaky as hell.. i move like a single man ninja swat team

Galil is a full auto dude lol. Ive gotten into the m16 with an ACOG lately. One well delivered 3 round burst to center mass and they are down.

On a side note, Charlie Sheen got into black ops too, haha..

I gave it a try today. I really gotta get used to three round burst. I think id use the reflex sight and ween myself over to an acog on bigger maps.

Yeah, the M16 is great once you get used to it. Just keep playing with it, you'll get more accurate over time. One thing about the sights though...I don't think there's really any advantage to the reflex over the red dot, unless you just like how it looks better. The red dot takes up less of your screen though, so I think it's better for being able to keep a better eye on your surroundings while you're ADS'd.

Just my opinion though...

EDIT: Also, if you get used to the M16 then try the G11 out as well. It's 3 round burst, similiar power to the M16, but it's ugly as hell, the reload animation is awesome, AND you can use a variable zoom scope with it like they have on the sniper rifles...

ah, the G11 is the one i was thinking about, not the galil.

basically my biggest problem is, i shoot first and either miss or dont' kill the guy. then i'm screwed. i would use a shotgun, but the range is terrible.

I bounce between reflex and red dot honestly. And I tried the G11. Fuuuuuck that. Haha Maby once I master the M16. Ive started to use the AUG a lot more than I used to. Me using the AK74u is few and far between now. And I used to swear by it. Im also using sleight of hand pro a lot too. Muy usual setups are now
Ghost Pro or Hardline Pro
AK74u, grip, rapid fire, SCP
AUG, supressor, SOHP, SCP
M4, red dot, SOHP, SCP
AUG, supressor, red dot, Marathon
SPAZ, Supressor, SOHP, Marathon
But Ill switch one or two of them once in a while depending on the map.

I set up all my classes withe the same perks... except perk 2.. its either warlord or SOH
Perk 1 is always ghost.. perk 3 is always marathon

every prestige i end up trying something different. right now im on a huge flack jacket kick.

Flack Jacket
SOH/pro
Tactical mask
AK47 w/GL
strela-3
nade/stun/clay

im ripping people up with this.

or on a larger map ill run a ghost setup with

Ghost
SOH/pro
Ninja
any assault rifle w/silencer
strela-3/law
nade/stun/clay

i have a bunch of classes with the same basic setup, just different guns to mix it up

Yeah, it does require much more accuracy. You get better the longer you use it though. At least if you have a quick trigger finger then you can get off another shot fairly fast. That's the thing I don't like about the bolt-action sniper rifle. I can deal with semi-auto just fine, but if you miss with a bolt-action gun then you're probably fucked...

Everybody swears that the AUG and the FAMAS are the same gun, but I do much better with the FAMAS for some reason. The AUG has weird recoil it seems like, so I only really like it for closer quarters. And if you're going to be fighting in close quarters, then might as well use an SMG and be able to move faster...

why ghost and not lightweight?

I always run lightweight. I play very aggressively and spastically, so ghost really doesn't help me that much. I do use ghost on one class though, my SPAS setup. I usually go SPAS silenced, and then ghost, sleight of hand, and marathon. GREAT flanking class for team games. When the game starts, run the opposite direction from where most of your team goes and try to sneak around the back of the enemy team. If the opposition stays fairly close together, you can sometimes mow down the whole team, lol...

I dont understand why no one gets that you can run around while ghosted. Thats exactly what I do, but I still have the option to drop down and ambush a group of people unexpectedly. If you have marathon on you still get around pretty quickly. I flank teams all the time whether theres a spy plane up or not. Theres such an advantage with not being seen especially once the Cobra or Sentry gun comes around.

Oh, no, I get that, and that's pretty much what I do with my SPAS class. I just find lightweight to be overall more useful to me. Maybe it's because I prestige though. Unless I start out working on ghost pro right away, then I don't really get much time with it before it's time to prestige again. And regular ghost doesn't protect you from air support or sentry guns...

So...Rolling Thunder on Nuketown is fucking SWEET! It pretty much kills everyone, in rapid succession. One time I had 9 kills with it on a Free-For-All, so that means two people died, respawned, and then died again from it.

On a side note, I really need to switch up my killstreaks when I play with ReckedRacing. The man is an air support destroying machine...
