I'm in the process of changing motors in my 96 Civic DX (OBDII, D16y7) to a 92-93 Civic EX motor (OBDI, D16z6). I'm reusing my stock wiring harness and I found out there is a Crankshaft Position Sensor on my old block (d16y7) that is not on my new one (d16z6). Does OBDI motors not have a CPS? Or can I unbolt the sensor from my D16y7 and bolt it up to the D16z6?
