i have a 88 crx si that i just purchased and wanted to put a d16z6 i dont have the engine wire harness and was wondering do i need the dpfi to mpfi conversion or is the 88 crx si model already mpfi ????
hey wats upp guy ok i have a d16y8 full swap harness,ecu,tranny,head,block. the motor runs but one of the rod berings went it has 125k on the motor and it has a brand new clutch on it only drove it around the block with the new clutch on im looking fora b16a1 for a trade that runs or juss needs a tranny or $600 takes all txt me tha name is derek and tha numba is 8453219273

you need the stock harness with ecu jumper and p28 attached. then you run the wires from the jumper into the engine bay for 4 wire o2, vtec, etc. either switch plugs or run a dizzy adapter (which comes with the rywire kit) so that you can plug in your obd1 distributor.
it cause i bought the crx with nothing in it no motor or harness or ecu and i didnt want to buy the wrong harness and i already had the z6 but the motor only no harness eather and it come with the crx si manifold alredy .... thanx for the help
