H22 is overkill....
it really depends on what the car will be used for.....
racing on track h22 definate
street daily/race d series is nice
if you really want some full details just go on redpepperracing.com and ask around there but do some reading first....(youll have a day or 2 to do so)
p.s pics would be nice
H22 if you don't mind doing some "massaging" of the engine bay with a sledgehammer. You also won't stand a chance of keeping AC or PS. I'm thinking of throwing one into a CRX myself for kicks...

We drive Ew's(i dont know about you) but h22's and k series have had a bad rep of not to be very kind to our cars to have high care......so therefore lots of replacement engine and general parts will need to be replaced....
does the "messaging " do any damage to the car ?
The B18 will be fine.
The H22 is very heavy and will kill the handling of your car. But it'll be fast as hell in straight lines.
civic h22a are front heavy like he said and suck in turns and is a rocket on the srtaight i was in one
B20/VTEC. Pretty common and decent. Only thing is you're stuck with using aftermarket pistons to increase compression since they're bigger than the other B's..
