!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!i!
Hey all, i was thinking about purchasing a set of CTR cams. I am wondering how much of a performance difference i will get from them over my stock cams.

Also, do i need to buy both intake and exhaust cams or just the intake cam if the CTR exhaust cam is the same as my current one.

thanks in adavance.

Oh, almost forgot - how much higher will i need to rev to take full advantage of the new cams? Will i need CTR springs and retainers (im asuming so)?

I'd get the full valve train. Well, springs anyway, get aftermarket valves. As for the cams, they are well worth it, depending on how much you pay though. Get the exhaust cam too, you can get the CTR or ITR Exhaust cam, they are the same. I'd get adjustable gears when you do this though, that way you get full adjustability!

00+ ITR cams = CTR cams
I'd recommend upgrading to ITR springs and retainers.
you can only rev as high as your current ecu allows you to, which should be enough. they dont make much power past 8300 rpm.

don't waste your money on aftermarket valves. i would get both the intake and exhaust. i'm running them on stock b16 valvetrain right now. only upgrade your springs/retainers if you plan on revving past 8200rpm.

get cam gears to optamize the gains from the cams as well.

the thing is you wont see much gains from tuning the cam timing on CTR cams

ITR base map would be nice also..

well, my real plan is to use CTR pistons, Cams, itr springs/retainers, and ZEX nitrous - so i was considering getting a Hondata S100 (no boost). What do you think?
