Hi ppl,
i have a 93 civic hatchback 1.5 Lsi (D15B2 ? SOHC, 90hp, non vtec), and I?d like to have more power.. :P the thing is that I don?t want to change the block to a B one, cause I had to change the tranny too, and I don?t have muuuch $$
so, I?m thinking in change the interior of the block (crankshaft, increase the bore, fit different pistons, etc), and fit a different head, too. A DOHC, non-vtec.
But I never saw any article about D block compatibility within a B head. So can anyone help me?

These are the heads I?m interested in ? do they fit in my D15B?
D16A1 (this may fit without problems..)
B18A1
B18B1
B20B
B20Z
B21A1

be well,

You have to stick with your same series. The B series head will not fit/work at all, nor an h or k series. There is a few SOHC ZC engines i think. Im not sure if there would be any gains with them as i have not read into them but with all the other head swaps there seems to be gains so i dont know why you coldint find one to work and actualy see/feel HP gains.
