does anyone know if a d16y8 civic 96-98 ex motor will bolt into a del sol directly and wut kinda mounts would i need.

sure it'll bolt in, as long as the stock engine was a D15 or D16. Youll probably need the ECU from the donor car if the sol isnt a Z6 (though if it is a Z6, the swap doesnt make much sence). If its a S model, youll need to ecu to control VTEC and all that good stuff.
