had stock crank polished and balanced. installed with new oem thrust bearings. spins on engine stand. installed resurfaced flywheel and oem replacement exedy clutch kit. installed original tranny. when mating block and tranny, pressure plate rivets hit interlock guide bolt (8 mm ) on tranny preventing crank from spinning freely. tried originall pressure plate and another oem flywheel. same problem. looked at other sohc crank pulleys and mine is really close to lower timing belt cover. also noticed i can stick my fingers behind flywheel no problem. any ideas?
