I burned my d16y7 engine in my 1999 Honda civic lx. I wanted to put a B16A in my car but I don't know what else I need (Trans???...) I was also looking for a D16y8 (ex, 127HP), it's a little better. Will I need a Trans if I get a DOHC, or anything besides a D engine? I just didn't want to put that same type of engine back in' I wanted something that I can tune. The only problem is that this is my only car and I need it to go to work, and I have don't have too much money to spend on a new engine. Please help.
