since the strike...very little OT, but lately...nothing but ot...
last week, I did a full week, and did the normal sat and sunday OT, then they asked me to come in sunday 4 hours early...(double time still), then work the normal shift. and then this week, I worked both sat and sunday, and they want me to come in at 6:00 pm(@ time and a half), and then work the normal sunday ot (doubletime), go home, and come in sunday night at 8 (another 4 hours of double time) then do my normal shift.....and the normal day, I work 6.5 hours, and get paid for 8 since I'm 3rd shift.
I normally work 11:30-6:30...with a paid lunch (lunch is considered OT as well)
And it might be this way til the end of the year, since they got to make up for 60 days of employees on strike, and a backlog of aircraft that they had planned....they wanted a total of 230 heli's, when the normal output for the year last year was 80....
and I'm getting a raise soon to....going from $26.80 to $28.08 an hour....
life is starting to look up again
