well neways a couple of my friend r trying to get me to go to foxwoods or mohegan sun casino in conneticut(sp?)...they say since its on a "indian reservation" its only 18 to gamble? is this tru? i dont feel like driving for an hour up to conn. for a waste
 
I dunno about laws on indian reservations but I know the regulation for my local casino (oregon) is age 21.
 
Im pretty sure that the age varies by casino. Given that they their land (usually held in trust) is considered ruled by their tribe, they are free to set whatever age they want. But usually, so as not to piss off local areas, they will make the age at least 18. Of the 4 casinos within one hour of where i live 2 are 18 and 2 are 21.
 
No one under the age of 21 may enter the gaming areas, not even when accompanied by a parent or authorized person.

but i've NEVER been carded anywhere... as long as you aren't acting like a moorn, no one will say shit.

ocassionally, theres a guy in front of a particaulr gaming room... but just casually walk by like you're supposed to be there and they won't do shit.
if they do, kindly turn around and go into a different room
 
and they will ID you if you win any substantial amount of money so just keep that in mind...
 
I have never been id'd at the tables, and I have a baby face. I have been id'd once going into the place through the 21+ entrance. The only time I have really been id'd is for alcohol. Mohegan can be bitches about it, we got id'd 7 times in the same sitting at the chinese restaurant because the liquor commision was there.
 
I've heard Foxwoods now has penny slots.....hehe

After the wife feels better, we're going up there to play like big rollas....
 
The penny slots aren't really penny slots at all. These new slots do not except pennies. They denominations of 1,5,10,20's , and then you can play the slot in increments of 1 penney at a time. but to win any substaintial jackpot you'll have to play 200 - 400 credits which equates to $2-$4 a at time. it's a glorified dollar machine.

cheapest slots to play whould be the 25cent slots that have a maximum bid of three coins for a total bid of 75 cents.
 
the minimum age is 18 in cali.

yuour best bet is to try offering the guy at the door some firewater and a piece of shiny aluminum foil.....
 
The closest Indian casino by me is about 2 hours away. It is 18 to gamble. At the Casinos in detroit, it is 21, but there not indian casino's.

I am still waiting a year to go to the Winsor casino's. Only 40 minutes away, and since it is in Canada, drinking age is 19, same with gambling.
