Alright, since some of yall dont read slashdot, ill let you in on a little secret.
There are sites out there that let you stream music (for those that listen to music at the computer). I know one of them, IMEEM - what's on your playlist?, ,is completely free and legal (you have to buy the songs from itunes/amazon if you want to dl them).
The other one is Deezer | Music on demand, free music without download! (formerly blogmusik.com). I dont know if this one is legal or not, but their privacy and company policy are very similar to imeem. The difference is deezer doesnt REQUIRE you to sign up.
Note: if you see a greyed out song on deezer you can just right click it to play.
