So I havnt played MW2 in about a month so here is a question. Is the barebones gametype active?

hmm.. that should be interesting.. time to make some classes w/o CB pro on

I kind of wish they would have gotten rid of the perks as well. Without killstreaks then some of the perks are rendered ineffective (cold blooded, hard line, etc.), but you're still going to have BS 20 foot Commando lunge kills...

That was/is the thought amongst those who support the Barebones game type. I mentioned it a few months ago. It would be very nice if the only thing you could modify is your weapon. In my opinion no attatchment gives anyone God powers.

The heartbeat sensor might have to go, but yeah, other then that, the rest seem fair. Two attachments would be nice actually, so you could use a sight and something else (noob tube, silencer, FMJ, etc.)...

got all my attachments for the intervention, then i realized ive never done that with any sniper rifle. ive been getting it for the assault rifles and LMGs. it was pretty fun fuckin around with the sniper rifles cause i never did before.

i've been using the Barret 50cal and i'm getting pretty good with it.. not awesome, but better than before.. trying to unlock everything.. i cant use the intervention, too slow

I'm the exact opposite really. I find myself sometimes missing on my first shot and with the barrett, I tend to try to take a second or third quick shot and end up dying because of it. lol

Honestly, I wish they'd left out the WA2000 and put in another bolt action rifle. I'm not fond of that gun for some reason. I enjoy the one-shot one-kill method with the intervention, it forces you to take your time and not try to make every last shot you would with a semi-auto.

So I hit 70 again last night (first prestige) and got my AK-47. Decided to throw it on to my basic assault class (marathon, stopping power, commando) and ended up laying down some massive rapeage. Went 30-8 my first game on FFA, rushing hard the whole time.

On a side note though, I really don't know why everyone loves the AK so much. Damage and range is pretty decent, but it's also got a good amount of recoil. The Tar-21 is basically the same thing... :shrug2:

damage on the ak should be slightly greater, it uses the 7.65 round where as i believe the tar uses the nato smaller round the M16 uses..

it takes a lot of practice to get decent at sniping. just work on hitting them once. lol

yea.. what i'm saying is.. i take my time taking my shots if i've smoked because my patience level is much higher

If you look at the actual in-game stats, the damage is almost exactly the same. The AK is slightly more accurate though, so I guess it is technically a better weapon...

I have probably less then 50 kills total with sniper rifles. I think occasionally that I'll try to get into it, but then I actually play a game and do terrible. I just don't want to sink my K/D ratio trying to learn how to be a good sniper, lol...
