getting rid of WinXP SP3

i downloaded SP3 (service pack 3) for WinXP awhile ago and it has caused my pc to run very weird. is there anyway to go get rid of it and go back to SP2. im not too computer savvy so any help is appreciated. thanks!

yea.. i went to control panel and uninstalled the update
