Hey im pulling out my engine compartment fusebox to see if all connections are ok and there are brown plugs that go into the box that have some type of tan grease all through them. wondering if its sposed to be like that, someone told me that the grease shouldnt be touching all the other connections because it acts like a wire. its a del sol 93 si.

the grease protects against corrosion and oxydation....there should be a lil on electrical shit in the engine bay.....

It's dielectric grease....it does not conduct electricity until about 40,000 volts.

^^thats it, i knew there was another one does the opposite of what was mentioned above, and I have used it on some wiring jobs but couldn't think of it.

thanks Deth101
