My roommate has a 94 del sol with a B18C1 swap. About a month and a half ago, we had to replace the clutch fork (a lever that transfers power from the hydro system to the actual clutch itself) that broke in half for some reason. It's starting to bend and break again. We cannot figure out why. Does anybody know the cause of this problem? We'd rather not pull the transmission and fix it again, it was a bitch and a messy job.

- Thanks, - Ryan

i assume you had the throwout bearing properly secured in there?

thats very strange.. i haven't heard of anything like that

did you make a post about this before? Someone else had this problem too.

What pressure plate is he running?

Is the clutch adjustyed properly? If the rod is too far extended out of the master cylinder it will move the arm too far. This can kill the clutch, or as you have found, break the fork. The Helms has the proper procedure for adjusting it.
