Gsr water pump v itr water pump?

so i was looking up honda part numbers and came across something kinda weird/odd. . . i thought that the b series water pumps where the same with the exception of the ls.

i found 2 different part numbers for the gsr:

94-95: 19200-P72-003 ( gsr only)
96+: 19200-P72-013 ( gsr/itr )

this is where im confused, because can u use an itr water pump on a b16 and such? i have a 94 or 95 gsr bottom end and wanted to put an itr water pump on it. i figured they were the same part number since the bottom ends are almost identical.

if someone could clear this up, it would be awesome. does the itr flow more? because i think the fitment is the same for both of them.

different part numbers but its the same part really. theres no diffrence in how it works or how well itworks. i think the reason for diff part numbers is that one of them has dowel pins and one doesnt

humm interesting, i ordered the itrp pump beacuse i didnt know what yuear my gsr block was, sorry kinda messy typing, im eating at the same time.

itr pump = no dowel pins. . . that bad?
