I've been looking for the hole for a while now, but cant seem to find it. I've found a couple of rubber plugs ( i think thats what they are), but I'm not 100% sure if thats what it is, and I dont want to cut it out with my knife if it isnt. Does anybody have a pic of the engine bay in a 6th gen that could show me exactly where the hole is?

The hole in the firewall that goes from the engine bay to the cabin of the vehicle. Useful for running wires to and from the battery to accessories in the cabin, such as amps. Sorry for not being more specific, but I thought the subject line would take care of that. =)

I just run any extra wires through the existing grommets that have wires already going through them.

Those plugs are (usually), easy to remove, you just have to pull hard.

Also, most installers just tap into the power wire that leads to the fuses, instead of running a wire straight from the battery.
