BWAHAHAHAHH ESCORT WHEELS!!! :lol:
[post=379198]Quoted post[/post]

more accurately, 92 Escort GT wheels. He sold the escort with the Teg wheels on it. (those tires were in much better shape, i know...they were mine) :D

Blanco- It turned out alright. I will probally be redoing it but for now, I am just going to live with it. The one big write up on HT was alright, but the paint they recomend is HORRIBLE. It took FOREVER to dry, did not go on evenly at all (came out of the can way too runny) and because of that, I had to add extra coats, which then ended up making the bulbs come out too red. Then when pushing them back into the sockets, I ended up having on of the bulbs chip a little paint off. So now there is a slight hint of normal light on the gauge cluster. I will retry it agian with some better paint later.

And I already know you all hate the wheels. :p
[post=379450]Quoted post[/post]

Don't hate, appreciate. Those wheels are heavy and bling blingin, but as long as you like em, that's all that matters. I'd rather have nice 17's than drag slicks for daily driving. I know Calesta will scorn me for that statement. :p

um... why swap that for 10 more hp when you could swap in other motors for better gains...? :blink:
[post=379512]Quoted post[/post]

I didn't swap my motor just to swap my motor. I swapped it because I blew my motor & it was at a very bad financial time for me. I could either get another stock motor or the JDM, so I got the JDM- it's all I could afford at the time. I planned to go back to boost, but now I'm selling my car so I'm not gonna bother with it.

Ahh. I see. Like I should be talking... All my car money's in "rice parts"

Gawd I wanna sell this thing. This is pathetic, I just finished it. If I could do it all over again I would definitely motor swap, but what's done is done.

ah. Ok that makes sense then. So you did what you had to do. How'd you blow the a2, was it boosted?

:doh: :p

I meant the hybrid gauge cluster. I was a little zonked last night. :D
[post=379508]Quoted post[/post]

Oh, the "hybrid" gauge cluster is working great. I got my gas light and my millage, and the VTEC Tach, so I am happy. It all came from 2 diffrent sol clusters so its good. I don't know if it would work if you used teg or civic clusters and interchanged them but who knows. If I had an extra cluster I would try it, but the only non sol cluster I have is a teg one with indiglos. If I take them off, then there will be glue all on the face, and there would be zero chance of selling it

as for Everyone elses comments, Lets keep this thread positive. Don't flame others about there choices.

More pics, mods, etc at link in sig.

I'm also droppin in a 7.2" flipdown to finish off the 5.1 goodness. DTS > ALL.

Blanco, I want those trio's when you've got new wheels... I wanna make my car run 12's on Trio's. :p

Also, I'll soon be pulling my Si cluster out of my 1991 Si, and putting in a GSR cluster. If you want the old cluster, let me know. It's perfect, 175k miles or so.
