hood latch+ release cable question

Are the hood latches and release cables universal for del sol and civics??

I have a del sol, and im looking for these, but do I NEED one from a del sol??? or would a civic one work??

Bah that sucks...

Cheapest I can find is $26 for the cable, $40 for the latch... including shipping. :/ Wish someone in my area had either I'd pick up for cheaper w/ no shipping.
