yup good write up and yes it does apply to cars as well , i have personally seen a 20 hp gain on quick class drag civics buy replacing the slicks a narrow stock style wheel and tire smaller lighter mass/ less rolling resistance = more

I doubt it would be much use for dyno-ing a bike, but for cars they actually do have dynos that attach directly to the hubs rather then using a roller. That's probably the most accurate way to dyno, since you're completely eliminating the variables of wheel size, tire pressure, tread wear, etc....
