he is telling us not to do it because he did it on his car so he is giving us a heads up not to do what he did..lol

No, he is saying he didnt weld it to the car, he welded the hinges on the bars
while they were installed in the car.
Which probably wouldnt be the best of ideas to do....lol unless of course he used a welding blanket to cover the engine.
