basically the one way to know for sure is a 2way alarm hooked up to a backup battery.. i had planned on running the alarm and siren(s) (i had planned on mounting 2 hidin in my interior somewhere) off a backup battery, but never got around to it

Yea that's even better have a set of strobes under the car like neon lights but way brighter along with loud ass alarms and sirens that can be heard from a mile wired to a back-up battery all rigged in the trunk . Theft-proof as long as you test it weekly to make sure everything works.

And that AC kill switch is really common now... it doesn't take much to check a few buttons that are in the car...

Also, my friend had his ej stolen last year, had a kill switch in the trunk, quick release steering wheel, black widow alarm, removed his ecu, and someone still stole that shit. Had a fresh ITR swap with a brand new ZEX kit on that bitch... who ever took it, came up hardcore...

And that's something I'm reeealy touchy about now that I got this car. It's my first ride, and the kids at my school love to walk by a car and scratch it or just fuck with it. If I ever find out anyone so much as took a fucking sticker off my car (if I had one) I'd beat the living shit out of them and smash in their windows. A good friend of mine drives this old Chevy truck and when someone fucks with it he just pulls up next to their car and slams his door into theirs a few times to leave a big ass dent and some nasty paint chips..doesn't matter his truck is a rustbucket anyway hahaha.

It's just I've never been so into anything before I bought this Civic and I've put more money into it than I've spent in my life I would just snap if someone fucked with it and couldn't imagine what I'd do if I actually saw them.

Anyway, updates. They haven't found my car, but they rumors I have been hearing are definately very suspicious. It seems almost obvious to me, but I have no proof.

A kid at school here owns a 98 civic coupe with an LS-VTEC in it. He built it himself, and it shows. The car is a royal piece of shit. We've had our words about ebay parts, and we even raced at the track. I was suprised to see that I outperformed him in drag, not so much autocross. Anyway, he has supposedly been talking alot of shit about my car, and many know him to be dirty and kniving. He also hasen't been at school for 2 days (friends have classes with him.) Really makes me wonder. I know he has access to a shop and possibly parents that would condone this sort of thing. Really raises some eyebrows.

I have a buddy that knows where this kid lives. Tomorrow we are skipping classes and going to go stake out whats going on there. I think we can see into his shop from the top of my friends house, so we'll prolly stake it out that way. Believe me, if I see anything, I'll disregaurd any laws and beat the motherfucker into the pavement. I may not be a huge guy, but I really dont like people tampering with my hard earned stuff.

Then if and when he DOES hand you your shit beat his ass anyway teach him a lesson he'll never forget. That's just something that would set me OFF I have no tolerance when it comes to messing with my car. I'd say you should break into his shop just to see, like don't steal anything if your car's not there but just make 100% sure it's not in there. Buy a $15 pair of shoes for the day, some rubber gloves for finger prints and some hairnets underneigth skimasks and a new set of clothes so you don't leave a trace of evidence. Then when you're done throw all the stuff you bought away in a dumpster on the other side of town. Just the lengths I'd go to.

Yeah, its not just my car that I cant tolerate.

About 2 months ago someone broke into my shop and stole a bunch of turbo parts. Now my car is gone. This all just adds to what happened last year. To be honest I feel like beating the fuck out of him anyway just becase hes shady.

but honestly, at least they turned up. We've had a lot of vehicles stolen in front of our house in Edmonds, WA and the cops never showed up, just took the plate number. Voila 2 days later the cars were found and stripped to death.

^ Yeah, I was just pissed off last night and really felt like hitting the kid.

Anyway, good updates here. Instead of staking out the house, went to school and I'm happy I did.

Got a call from the police at about 12:30, they found the car. It seems that someone stole it simply to get somewhere, or it ran out of gas LOL. I don't know how much more lucky I can get, but the car was found with an empty tank of gas on a sidestreet near Hillyard (a nasty part of town.)

The cops say there is a crack in the front bumper, it looks like he hit something. They also say its missing the deck face and some other misc stuff from the interior. I get it back in about an hour, so I'm just hoping the damage isnt too great. I have a new front end, so Im not too worried about the front end damage.

Im really sick of this happening though, fucking thieves.
