I swapped a d16y8 in place of the d16y7 on my 99 civic.
Come to find out motor's originally an automatic, yet the swap was ok ... everything bolted fine to the ecu (p2p for 5speed tranny)
problems-
I have 2 CEL codes - 2ndary o2sensor circuit & IAC circuit.
I think if I remove it & clean it out it'll work again ... what's the best way to remove it?
oh, and is there a problem in continuing to use the rotary-style Idle Air Control with my 5spd?
