I'm in the army. I leave for Ft. Knox, Ky Feb 5th. I'm going in as E-3. The recruiter told me since I had so many college credits, I'd be E-3 atleast. I signed on as E-1. I did my fitness checklist and became E-2. Then I got someone else to sign up, that put me up to E-3. It's the recruiter's job to lie. You could probably move up quick if you try hard enough. Just don't fuck around and get bad marks and shit. Stay out of trouble and do your job. You might have posted it already, but what is your job??? I'm going in as 91W (Health Care Specialist.)
