We use ITR lost motion devices in any head running cams with more than .425" valve lift. Note the high pressure lube on the top of the valve stems.

why do they do this....

Ive also read about using H22A ($72) LMA's w/shims inplace of the ITR's ($320)...

Im sure the use of ITR LMA's are in relation to the Lift of the cams, etc. But, would like more info... help...

bump...im curious too cause i know a lot of N/A H22 builds include the ITR LMAs.

Well, for a cheaper route you can use NSX 94-95 LMA's with .04" shims.

95+ LMA's are the same as 97+ Prelude LMA's but you need to run a shim with them

91-94 NSX LMA's are like the TYPE-R LMA's but longer.

B16 and GSR LMA's are the SAME

TYPE-R LMA's are different and have a larger contact patcha nd have a different spring in them.

There is a company online that will rebuild you old LMA's for like $80 with the TYPE-R spring installed.

If you need LMA's get the 95+NSX or the 97+ Prelude LMA's and get the shims need .40 i believe im not 100% sure dont hold me to it. it will save you alot of money and aloow you to run larger cam profiles in the future.

And wow, of all the people on this board, not a single person knows about this?
