jdm vs usdm ecu's

Hey guy i got a question about jdm ecu's, i woz jus wondering if there woz a difference between the jdm p72 and the usdm p72 other than the jdm p72 having a limiter. is there any other diffences? like when vtec kicks in ect..?

i did a search but couldn't find anything

I think JDM ecu's are shorter and i've heard that they are tuned for a higher octane gas which may yeild a small bumb in power but i'm not sure.

They should be pretty much the same as far as rev limits and VTEC points go. The fuel and spark maps will be slightly different since the JDM Si VTEC has more compression.
