ok, what are the benefits in terms of performance to lighten you flywheel, and I am not just talking about weight difference, because obviosly it should be a power difference too, can somebody explain it to me?

no real power "gain"
but you will get more to the wheels due to less drivetrain loss (similar to what happens when you use light weight rims)
acceleration and RPMs are quicker
but the throttle becomes a lot more "touchy" (slight variations are felt a lot more)

Less rotational mass, it'll allow the engine to spin more freely allowing it to do less work, this is also good on gas mileage and extends the life of the engine.

Balancing the rotating assembly and using light weight components will help the engine even more. When you get on it, the engine will rev out faster and easier than it's ever done before, the only downside is when you let off the gas to slow down, the revs will drop faster as well.

your freeing up power that was normally robbed under heavy weight.

recommend getting a new aftermarket flywheel, such as either fidanza/act/etc...
