never thought it would happen to me but oh well. the spring i thought i saw was actually a flywheel bolt that backed out. when heather put the bolts on i gave her the torque wrench, and i know shes competent enough since shes a mainframe mechanic, but i think the engine vibrations did me in. going to use the loctite this time on all of them after i replace the bolt.

no, have some major issues going on now.

car is leaking oil around the rear main seal/girdle
new clutch is toast due to oil glad it was a cheapie... but i just need a disc.

other than that the rest of the car is tip top. i'm a little lean, need to fix that. also i have to change out the front brake pads.

just going to drive it until the clutch gives out. im purchasing a replacement low-miles transmission to throw my kaaz 2-way in. at that time we'll pull the engine, and replace the whole rear seal housing AND the oil pan seal just incase.

i should have it in a few days. it is 5.5lbs lighter than OEM, and allows me to run the DSM steel chassis grommets effectively eliminating the last four pieces of rubber holding the engine in.
