uh? I don't get how anyone who can drive stick, would willingly own an automatic car. 

For stop and go driving, like downtown in a city or something, a manual tranny kind of sucks. If I were to buy a car just to drive to work or school or something i would probably get an automatic.

I never have a problem with stop and go driving through town...

you know what the funny thing is though? through my town, all the lights are timed.

I learned that by going the speed limit (or under) the only thing i'd have to do is downshift to make sure I dont run through when its still red.

The other perk is cops dont mess with people obeying speed limits.
