Name brand IM or port the stock IM ?

I have not found the answer to this question on this site, I apoligize if it has been answered and I missed it. But, does anyone know for sure if its better to go w/ a manufacturer for an intake manifold, or to just port the stock one? Particularly for the ls motor. Thanks.

Id say keep the stock one. Saves you vacuum headaches and its honda...net gains on a new im are probably around 3 WHP if that.

get an after market one. ls is the absolute worst intake manifold period. maybe 5hp at high rpms, but other mods compliment each other. i'd say go for it. check out a blox intake mani.
