i plan on an engine swap later down the road but i'll post a thread on that when i'm ready for it.
I have a 98 Civic LX (D16Y7 engine) a friend gave it to me after the cam snapped. I just want to get it running and make it a little more fun until i'm ready to swap the engine.
Ijust bought a used vtec head and intake off a D16y8. i know i need a p28 ecu to finish the conversion. what else do you recommend? i'm thinking AEM v2 cold intake, i need a new exhaust system, i want new coils and i need a new hood and headlights.
i'll take any advice, i'm kinda new at this and i don't really want to spend more than 500. I'm also looking for used parts if i can.
