Driving home from NY tonight (picking up a block and tranny) I got caught in a speed trap. I was doing 52 in a 50... it dropped to a 35 and I saw the lights. Well I gave him my PBA card along with the whole thing. He went back to his car. Came back 10 minutes later with a ticket for 17 over and everything but my PBA card... but he said "that PBA card was a little old, do you have a newer one?" I simply told him that the newest one I have is 2005. (Lost my 2006 one in December of 2006) He told me to have the cop call him and talk to him.
Now do you think this means that once the cop talks to him he will drop the ticket?
Also, there is no number or website on the ticket. Anyone happen to know how to contact Ramapo, New York PD? Rockland County.
And last question, I know NY points won't transfer to NJ but anyone know how much I'm looking at if I get stuck paying this ticket?
