2. 1 letter followed by 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers

4. 3 letters followed by 1, 2 or 3 numbers
5. 4 letters followed by 1 or 2 numbers
6. 5 letters followed by 1 number
7. 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 numbers followed by 1 letter
8. 1, 2, 3, or 4 numbers followed by 2 letters
9. 1 or 2 numbers followed by 3 or 4 letters
10. 1 number followed by 5 letters
11. Numbers: 0001 through and including 9999
12. Numbers: 00001 through and including 99999
13. Numbers: 000001 through and including 999999. Note: Six numbers will be
separated by a dot (example: 999·999)

of course this in CT so your going to want to check your own states rules, before you deside what you want.

Here in Illinois you can have a max of 7 letters/numbers and 2 spaces. There's also no online way of checking on what's taken... You have to send yours in and see if you get it back or not.
