new modification for the mirage

well, i changed the oil in the mirage sunday with new 5w30 valvoline like i usually use, and changed the filter as well. the oil that came out wasnt even that bad. then again, i have to add 2qt every 3 weeks or so.

the old oil and filter had ~15K miles on it. i havent changed it since last april when i put the car on the road.

i should have left it alone. the motor has a prominent rod knock at idle now.

what do i do? fuck. drive it till it blows up! 194Kmiles, y0!

well i pumped it full of lucas oil for the last 7K miles, and acetone for ~3K miles.

well looks like you guys lucked out. the crank pulley bolt wobbled itself loose, and actually fell out while i was driving it.

got the car home, and ordered a new bolt at the DODGE dealer on my tab going to pick it up on my lunch.

the accessory pulley is on there tight. celerity and i beat the fuck out of it to get it on there when the bolt came loose last time.
