NO tensioner on AC bracket

I have a 00 civic with a b20 swap. I have a civic compressor with no tensioner to adjust the belt yet have a belt directly around the main cam and compressor. I want to loosen the tensioner to put some slack on the belt but the bracket set up doesnt have a tensioner, anybody familar with this and have the same setup. Any info would be appreciated thanks
