ob2 or ob1 conversion?

Hi i have a 98 civic hatchback and i was wondering if its better to use a ob1 b18c or stick with a ob2 b18c? I plan to run all motor with serious headwork and i heard ob1 is easier to modify.

if you are planning to heavily modify it it will be a little easier if your running OBD-1 (less restrictive)

all you need to do is run a conversion harness where the ECU plugs in
then you can run an OBD-2 engine as if its OBD-1
