OBD1 conversion

i just recently brought a wiring harness and a obd1 p72 that was socketed for hondata. the guy had the ecu chipped for his turbo but i only have bolt ons. i was wondering if he took the chip out and just keep the socket in would the ecu return to normal operation so that i could just plug and play like stock? or is there a jumper that i have to jump to return it to stock?

also is there any problem going from my p72obd2 to p72 obd1 that i have to worry about?

if its chipped. you will have to remove the custom chip. get a new one tuned to your car. and put it in. it has to have a chip in it with a map on it. as far as i know it wont run with out a chip.
