OH no :( i broke the bolt. HELP!

I over torqued on of the Tranny fluid line bolts. You know, the kind with the hole through it and allows fluid to pass and it connects the lines from the radiator to the top of the trannsmision.

well i need a new one and autozone is dumb, what are they called??! where can i get one??

YESS! thats what its called. but anyways just got back from Autozone and Oriellys and neither carry the part (or really know what it is).

Should i call a honda dealership??

or just hit up every salvage yard for a bolt?

They had lots of banjo bolts, i guess this one is weird? i broght it in and everything, they could find one big enough. And the guy at O'Rielys was very helpful and called a bunch of stores, and even a few transmission specialty shops ... nothing

Cheap source would be the junkjard if there is one around. Honda dealer will be more expensive and they will be able to get one as long as it's not discontinued.

Well i called the local Honda dealer, and he told me he couldn't help me and I had to call an Acura delaer.

I call the Acura dealer and he is Looking over the diagrams and can't seem to figure out what I'm talking about.

So I call a few junkyards and finally find one with a early 90s model teggy that's auto. And when I get there it's no even close to the same looking tranny and it does t even have the same coolant system.

Here is a thought...

The motor that came with the car when i got it had an extra hole in the oil pan. This makes me think at one point he had done an ls/vtec. Im pretty sure the intake manifold on my car is not the stock b18a1 IM. Is there a way i can verify this? ill get a picture ...

But the thought is maybe the transmision isnt a stock 93 teg tranny. maybe its some other b-series tranny which is why the acura guys cant find it. How do i check the tranny to make sure which one it is?

check the code on the transmission, there should be a label on it saying what type of trans it is then search it up online and see what it says. Does the gearing feel the same as your old ls transmission?

Never driven any other LS.

AND! in brighter news, my dad called the acura dealer back and i guess talked to the person who knows something this time and got a part number it should be in today!

For future reference to anyone reading this. If you need the Front Transmission oil coolant line banjo bolt for a 93 Acura Integra, call the Acura Parts division and request part number 25951-639-000 it costs a little over $20 with all the washers and every thing.

on a side note: BE CAREFUL WITH THESE BOLTS!! they cost $20!!!!1!11
