oil blower

can any1 help i had me mate (mechanic)?? put a b16a jdm head on a b18c4 edm block straight forward i thought until i put the engine in the car canked her over a cuple of times to get oil up to find the car sitting in a pool of oil it seems to be at the back above the thermostat is there anything other than gasket there as ive just put a genuine head set wel my m8 did now hes in hospital coz he crashed hes motor and i dont whant to spring it on him just yet

You could be missing one of the dowel pins that align the head to the block. I believe that without these oil will leak pretty badly.

thanks 4 info ive just bin browsing net and got wife to crank her over so i could see and from this i no somthing is either a miss or me m8 forgot something or that i was misslead with info given by specialist or they may have forgot it sounds like it could be what you suggested or one of the ports at the back should be blanked like on ls conversion so i wunder if it is the same on b18c4 either way i whant to throttle smthing
