MV agustas are nice bikes, but you could pick up 11 cbr 1000rr's for that price. Is it a lighter bike? no. Even with all the carbon fiber and magnesium, it is heavier than an RR. It does have alot more horsepower and torque. Wonder why they felt a tubular steel chassis was needed vs aluminum? Anyway, It is a very sexy bike, very powerful, very nice, but I'm not seeing the 11x value.

Its a corvette vs ferrari thing I suppose. If you're rolling in cash, spring for the nice ride.
 
I don't know if this was suggested, but i know there are fairing kits to replace to give it the look. It's sorta ricey though since you don't have the real thing, in a way its kinda like paying for a Type R integra vs building it up a little and buying the badges or even just buying badges.
