That is the difference. A computers value to me is what is does. If a $150 386 is running a ventilator keeping a premature baby alive, than that is one hell of a valuable computer. If a twenty thousand dollar technological marvel of silicon wizardry is leveling up some pasty kid living in his moms basements mage, than that is a worthless heap of crap.
