Opinion on DC Sports headers???

i've owned 2 dc headers...

a dc tri-y, and a dc 4-1 jdm header...


the tri-y sucked. it cracked and fell apart and rusted and shit.



however, the jdm 4-1 DC is fucking AWESOME. i paid $250 shipped brand new from some ebay store....

does the dc jdm 4-1 header pass smog no problem and how did you get it to bolt on the 2000 gsr cat

Yes as you have been told already, the dc will bolt up to your engine. But you will need to get a new cat that has a 2.5" inlet. Meaning your 2000 gsr cat will not bolt up to the header.

it has a CARB tag thingie on it, so i assume it'll pass smog...


as far as bolting up, my exhaust is completely custom-made, so i just had them put a 2.5" flange on.

The dc jdm 4-1 is not carb legal.

JDM DC headers definatley not smog legal. Very good header though. If you want something better i would go Eldebrock. They also have the racing b-pipe for drag.
