over rev on an auto?

Is it possible to over rev on an auto and float valves?

ie... stage two camshaft with stock springs and retainers.

will this float valve or is there a safty on the tranny?

your not going to over rev on it, as long as you dont try and drop it from drive to 3rd at 90 mph.

my 88dl subaru auto wouldnt switch gears unless you were at a specified speed.

but what about under heavy accel? I can get my car to about 7200rpm before i get scared and let off to let it shift? Would it be wise to get a stage 2 w/o springs and retainers?

Your auto will shift just fine with your foot on the floor too.

IDK i can get it up to like 7200rpm then it likes to hang a little then it shifts but when I let off a little it shifts faster.
