after dropping in the motor i had this plug on the engine harness that didnt seem to have a home so after scratching my head a bit i decided to leave it to be done last thing. so it turns out its the plug for the purge control solonoid. i know the solonoid is on the intake mainfold and ive had a quick look but cant seem to locate it. can someone tel me exactly where it is please so i can see if someones taken it off before i got the motor its 99 b18c ITR
 
the jdm itr doesn't have one.

depending on your ecu, you may not need it. if you're running a usdm ecu liek a p28, you will. simply cut the plug off the old motor and wire it up to a vac source and the canister
 
:eek: that ll be why i cant see it then, i should be running it with the ecu that came with the motor providing my conversion harness turns up.
