putting head back together, help!

I bought a y8 head off a friend for a mini-me and boost purposes. He had it tore down and cleaned, never put it back together, bought it off him, he said he'd put it back together for an extra $75 and I decided I wanted to save money and learn.

I've got my haynes manual ready, but I can't find where these are taken from, it just says remove them and inspect them.

Lost Motion Assemblies. Where do they go?

First off, I've been looking for a diagram like that for weeks.

second, I can't tell where #25 goes

how many of the intake and exhaust valves should I have? I have one of each..

actually I'm looking at a blown up version of that diagram, and it looks like maybe the exhaust valve is number 4 and the intake valve is number 3? and it looks like intake is on far right valve, and exhaust is on far left..

is that how you're numbering the holes? if not, then thats how I'm numberin em and we'll go off that since its visible

I actually got a box of arp head stuff, and they look like they're brand stinkin new, like he bought them plannin on usin em and then didn't since he got rid of it? I donno,

these are all the goodies I got, and a box of random head parts in addition
