im just goin by what was told to me by friends on the forums, what ive seen.. and what i know..

He said they were replica's from the beginning. Also, if you want to bring up originals, the Evo 9 I drove in(MR, if that makes a difference), doesn't even have a reclining lever, it has a knob.
