Idels at 3 grand, i pull out gas pedal then it drops to 1 grand then it revs its self up to 2 grand then back to 1 grand and repeats it self...Why does it do this?
 
i had a guy that worked on my talon a while back and broke my intake manifold assembly. so to cover it up he literally tried to glue it back together. when he gave me my car back it had that same problem. my problem was more severe however b/c it seemed like everytime i turned the car off and turned it back on the rpms went up higher.

too tight throttle cable would cause the revs to stay at a constant high.
 
does it rev any higher than 3k?

Either way I vote Vacuum line or IACV. Possible FITV but that's a lot more rare/
