shift knob? dumm question i know

got a CTR shift knob in my 92 hatch, im puttin in a JDM H22, u have to chaneg out the shifter with the prelude one, any1 know if the threads are the same between the civic and prelude, dont wanna loose my authentic CTR knob. help me out
